When we opened up this box full of Rhicard Devrieze's amazing stipple-dyed yarns, we wanted to rush to our roof top and sing! The colours are glorious, melodious and mesmerizing. Stipple-dyed (or speckled) colorways have a tweedy effect when knit up --- albeit it's tweed with a twist...tweed a bit more cheerful, quirky and fun. Known as Peppino, Rhichard sources all the wool in this yarn from the Southern Hemisphere in order to ensure micron consistency. The yarn is superwash and tightly twisted, making it perfect for socks, shawls and lightweight garments.
The "Express Yourself" and "Purl" colourways are not shown in the group shots.
Please note: yarns are dyed in batches, please make sure that you order enough yarn for your project as dye lots do vary between batches and colourways may not perfectly match.
Peppino is sold as a skein. We are happy to wind the skein into a ball for you (just leave us a note to do so in the comment box). Please note that all skeins once wound into a ball are non-refundable.
