About Personal -- Clothing
Personal Clothing began in Los Angeles as a side project making clothing from second-hand linens. All fabrics used to create the garments in its product and editorial photography are vintage or second-hand from founder Alice Spies' personal collection. Developed out of a vision for making high-end clothing design accessible to anyone with a sewing machine, PC believes that personally-made clothing using vintage or repurposed fabric is a sustainable alternative to mass-market fashion.
