Merchant & Mills' "The Sidney" Pattern
Sidney is a boxy sweatshirt with a loose crew neck and finger skimming sleeves.
This is a multi-size paper pattern including UK sizes 6 – 18. Seam allowances are included in the pattern at 1.5cm, unless otherwise stated.
Suggested Fabrics: To get the structured boxy shape of Sidney, choose a medium to heavy weight cloth. Sweat shirting, jersey loopback and cotton jacquards are ideal. For the ribbing, we carry Merchant & Mills' pre-cut strips.
Other Supplies: Matching thread, Ribbing. Look at the table below if you have bought off the roll ribbing. If you are using M&M's pre-cut ribbing you will need 3 strips for sizes 6 – 14 and 4 strips for sizes 16 – 18. Note – you can leave the ribbing off of the bottom of the sweatshirt, in which case you will only need 2 strips for all sizes.
