Merchant & Mills' "The Billy" Menswear Gilet Pattern
A hardworking gilet. Make yours lined or unlined, with facings on the inside or outside.
Sizes UK 34 – 54 (US menswear sizes are approximately the same as UK sizes, i.e. UK34 = US34).
All seam allowances are 1.5 cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Fabric Suggestions – Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. For the lining we’d suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise – cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
