"Nénuphar is the very essence of this collection. The movement of this motif is reminiscent of that of water, omnipresent in Monet’s paintings. We find the same effect as this artistic current where small paint stains come to form a bucolic landscape. It is by getting closer that these touches of color turn out to be small flowers. Like a reflection on the water, blue intertwines with orange, lilac and green hues on an off-white background.
We like to wear this pattern as a blouse on jeans for a fresh outfit; in skirt or pants it will be worn with a pink t-shirt. At the end of winter, Nénuphar brings color into our wardrobe." -- Lise Tailor
This fabric is slightly see-through and might require lining.
Fabric measures 54" wide (140 cm). Printed on a 100% viscose LENZING™ ECOVERO™, FSC and STeP by OEKO-TEX® certified. 135 g per a square meter (4.76 oz per square yard). Made in France.
Lise Tailor recommends that you wash your fabric before sewing it, as viscose often shrinks by around 5 to 10%.
Care Instructions: Wash your fabric inside out to preserve the colors, using a gentle detergent without bleach. Wash your fabric with a delicate or silk program, max temperature 30°C (86°F). Gentle spin (max 1000 revolutions). Dry your laundry in the open air, taking care to smooth it out of the machine. No dryers. Iron at medium temperature.
Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 54" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.
This fabric is $20.40/meter or $5.10 for a quarter meter strip.
