Sunny Afternoon was originally designed in-house by the Liberty Fabrics team in 2008. Revived and recoloured especially for the Carnaby Collection, this magical landscape bursts with natural wonders – patterned clouds, suns, rainbows, stars, trees and flowers come together within a vivid and colourful countryside scene.
The latest quilting collection from Liberty Fabrics is inspired by the historic epicentre of popular culture that is Carnaby Street, located just around the corner from the iconic Liberty flagship store. Drawing inspiration from the music, art and fashion of the 1960s and ‘70s, the collection reflects the free-spirited, optimistic mood of that era – influenced by the colourful patchwork that was painted on the pavement outside the Liberty store during the 1970s, with three colour stories designed to conjure hazy summer days in London.
Fabric measures 43/44" wide. Designed in the UK. Printed on 100% quilt-weight, cotton (NOT Tana Lawn). The Liberty Quilting collection is a range of Liberty Print fabrics which are suitable for crafting, patchwork and all sewing projects.
Sold and priced in 1/4 yard increments. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 yard), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 44" wide and 1 yard long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.
