Product Description
Primrose Path is a versatile and nostalgic floral, reminiscent of spring meadows in full bloom. Based on a Liberty Fabrics archive design from 1935, this charming botanical epitomises the classic Liberty print style – for The Hooligan’s Shampoo collection, it has been recoloured into bold, unpredictable colour combinations.
“This 1930s archive print threw itself at our feet and begged to be lovingly recoloured. New colourways make these pretty primroses an instant classic.” – Shona Heath
SS21 Hooligan's Shampoo
Visionary set designer Shona Heath brings her fantastical touch to Liberty print in a unique collaboration created for Liberty Fabrics Design Series. Inspired by Philip Ridley's 1996 children's book The Hooligan's Shampoo, Heath constructed miniature sculptures in her studio from from everyday cornershop objects -- off kilter scenes of rubber-band bows, flowers made from washing up sponges, and discarded banana skins were painted into beautiful artworks by the Liberty Fabrics team, appearing here in a parade of vibrant colours and textures.
