Matilda Bloom is a glorious print of roses and daisies, based on a hand-painted artwork unearthed within the Liberty archive. Its striking botanical trail features one of the most archetypal motifs associated with the colour red. An ancient symbol of love and devotion, roses hold an enduring beauty and appeal. This print is part of the Red story of the Spring/Summer 2024 collection with designs drawing from the colour’s millennia-spanning history as feature of prehistoric paintings, and one of humanity’s first symbols of love, life and vitality.
The Liberty Kaleidoscope
For SS24, The Liberty Kaleidoscope takes us on the most vivid journey of all – through the rainbow, into a prismatic universe of colour. For this collection the Liberty Fabrics designers engaged with print’s most elemental pigments, assembled here into four compelling stories: ‘Spectrum’, ‘Red’, ‘Blue’ and ‘Yellow’. The collection explores the cultural, natural and historical components that make up the light and shade of everything around us, taking us into the heart of each hue. Join us to become immersed in kaleidoscopic colour, unlike anything we’ve done before.
