Desert Island Deliveries was designed by OK David as an imagining of how all those luxuries are delivered to the castaways on BBC4 Radio program ‘Desert Island Discs’. How else would you send a grand piano or a gramophone to a tiny forgotten isle in the middle of the ocean? All the items in the print are luxuries taken from the Desert Island Discs radio show, apart from the Aston Marten – that’s what OK David would send to his Dad if he was marooned.

Inspired by the imaginings and solitary musings from a deserted tropical island, Liberty’s newest collection ‘Castaway’ captures the enchanting world of aquatic flora and fauna, vast ocean horizons and a menagerie of tropical delights in a charming collection of island prints. Explore the underwater kingdom of marine corals, swimming paisleys and swirling shoals of fish, discover memories captured on the pages of a journal to the soothing sounds of ocean spray and wonder at the carnival of glistening constellations and spiralling planets revealed by an endless night sky. Colour palettes are derived from this dreamy island paradise: from saturated blue skies, vivid aqua seas and rich earth tones, to sun bleached hues of silver birch, sage and sherbet, offset by sophisticated white washes of pearl, seashell and alabaster.

Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.
