Elizabeth Hartman's "Pineapple Farm" Quilt
Pineapple Farm includes patterns for 3 quilt sizes and a pillow cover. The pineapple blocks are made using conventional patchwork techniques. No paper piecing! Quilt projects are fat quarter friendly and are fantastic for mixing and matching different monochromatic hues. The pattern also includes a complete list of the cut pieces need to make a single block, making it easy to use scraps or make single blocks for other projects.
Finished Sizes: Pillow – 20" x 20"; Baby Quilt – 35" x 43"; Lap Quilt – 61" x 69"; Picnic Quilt – 74" x 82"
SELECTING PINEAPPLE FABRICS
Colorful fabrics for the pineapple bodes will be sorted into groups of 3 fat quarters or 3 squares, with each group being used to make a set of blocks. The quilt will be most successful when the fabrics in each group read as a cohesive color group, but have enough contrast among them to show off your piecing (for example a light, medium, and dark tone of the same color).
The Picnic Quilt on the cover was made using Elizabeth Hartman's Pond print fabric collection for Robert Kaufman Fabrics, as well as Robert Kaufman's Kona Cotton Solids and Essex Cotton/Linen Blends.
